On February 24th, 2023, the Embassy and Consulate General of the Republic of Panama in the Hellenic Republic, received in its premises the Honorable Mr. Werner Vargas Torres, Secretary General for the period 2022-2026 of the Central American Integration System (SG- SICA), in a courtesy visit, since the Embassy of Panama in Greece is the only diplomatic representation of a SICA country to the Hellenic Republic.

The Secretary General, Mr. Werner Vargas Torres, accompanied by his Advisors: Ms. Marcela Iraheta and Ms. Desiree García, was received at the Embassy of Panama in Greece by the Cultural and Education Attaché, Honorable Mrs. Angélica Liakópulos, the Attaché of Maritime Affairs, the Honorable Mr. José Demóstenes Racine and Mrs. Effie Latifi from the Office of the Ambassador and General Consul of Panama in Greece, H.E. Ms. Julie Lymberópulos.

The Secretary General, Mr. Werner Vargas Torres, shared and presented to the team of the Embassy of Panama in Greece the SICA Work Plan for the period 2022-2026 of his mission, as well as the plan of the Protempore Presidency of Belize in the first semester of 2023.
