ProPanama, the entity of the Panamanian Government, operating under the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the attraction of investment to the Republic of Panama and the promotion of exports from Panamanian products abroad,  along with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in the Hellenic Republic, is representing Panama and its exquisite and unique varieties of coffee and cocoa at the WORLD OF COFFEE ATHENS 2023, which is taking place in the Athens Metropolitan Expo from the 22nd to 24th of June, 2023.

The Ambassador and General Consul of Panama in Greece, H.E Mrs. Julie Lymberopulos, cordially received in Athens the ProPanama delegation with whom they paid an official visit to the SAMBA Roastery, owned by Mr. Konstantinos Kalafatas – President of the Athens Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).

In a dinner offered by the Embassy of Panama in Greece and H.E. the Ambassador Lymberopulos, with the most emblematic landmark of Athens as a background - the Acropolis - the ProPanama delegation had the chance to meet directly with key players from the Greek Coffee Industry, such as: Mr. Konstantinos Kalafatas - owner of SAMBA Roastery and President of the SCA, Mr. Nikos Ferras – owner of Kudu Roastery and Mr. Vasileios Anastasopoulos – owner of El Café Anastasopoulos SA, exploring potential collaboration opportunities.

The Embassy of Panama in Greece hosted in its premises a meeting with the ProPanama delegation and Mr. Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos - CEO of Coffee Island, where all participants exchanged points of view on the Coffee Industries in Panama and Greece, while exploring opportunities for establishing even closer relations between the two markets.
